Gifting Sansar dollars
You can send Sansar dollars (S$) to other people in Sansar. You may wish to send someone Sansar dollars for services rendered, as a tip for a performance, or simply as a nice gift.
There are currently two ways to initiate a gift transfer of Sansar dollars.
Sending Sansar dollars to someone in the same scene
If you would like to send Sansar dollars to someone who is nearby:
Click their avatar and choose Send gift from the options that appear.
In the Gift panel that appears, select an amount of Sansar dollars to send. Modify the amount by clicking the -10, -1, +1, or +10 buttons to add or subtract the indicated number of Sansar dollars.
When you are satisfied with the total, click Send Gift to send the Sansar dollars.
Note: If you do not have enough Sansar dollars to cover the amount you would like to send, you are prompted to purchase Sansar dollars to cover the transaction. This transaction can be completed within the Gift panel without disrupting your gifting process.
Sending Sansar dollars through the People app
If you would like to send Sansar dollars to someone regardless of where their avatar is:
Open the People app and find the person to whom you would like to send Sansar dollars, either on the Nearby, Friends, or Search tabs.
Once you find the person's name, click the Send Gift button next to their name. The Send Gift button looks like a dollar sign ($).
In the Gift panel that appears, select an amount of Sansar dollars to send. Modify the amount by clicking the -10, -1, +1, or +10 buttons to add or subtract the indicated number of Sansar dollars.
When you are satisfied with the total, click Send Gift to send the Sansar dollars.
Note: If you do not have enough Sansar dollars to cover the amount you would like to send, you are prompted to purchase Sansar dollars to cover the transaction. This transaction can be completed within the Gift panel without disrupting your gifting process.
